butterflies tangled within yarned residue
of a moment’s glassy complexion,
allow us, just once (more)
to become the afterward of awkward altercation,
that of fulfilled emotional calmness,
relating coinciding reflections and
bathe within the warming residuum of
embracing paralleled desire.

understandings of secondary prophecies, diligent
in their softer rhythms, sometimes unfit virtues of
unrealistic hankerings.

terse truncations of emotional
mayhem. Psychological intertwining,
that of sky’s daytime disposition, too, skin

and the personality compressor
linked
to the saddened happenstance of veracious proclamations.

Walking
into halls of relevant mind-rooms, delineated
hearsay, say to undermine leaning balance of unbalanced sadness,
focus

soon, in the exact moment of unknown manifest
this weight will rise, dissipate into various angles
of open-eyed facsimiles.



Felino A. Soriano (b. 1974), is a case manager and advocate for developmentally and physically disabled adults. He has authored 23 collections of poetry, including “Altered Aesthetics” (ungovernable press, 2009), “Construed Implications” (erbacce-press, 2009), and “Delineated Functions of Congregated Constructs” (Calliope Nerve Media, 2010).
